Best of 2024

It's hard to narrow down the best of 2024 because we stayed in quite a few places. 

I separated this list into our top 5 parking/camping spots and top 5 activities.

Here was our top "parking" spots for the year.

5. Lake Head Boat Basin-Duluth,MN

Yes it was pretty much just a parking lot but location, location, location! Right in the marina area in downtown Duluth. 

4. North Rim of the Grand Canyon. 

We had canyon views right outside our door. And a spectacular view of the sun setting over the canyon

3. Arches National Park. 

Our space was right IN the park. A trail from our space led us to magnificent rock formations.

2. Okie Beach in Alcova,WY. 

We had this place to ourselves and the reservoir right outside our door.

1. Buffalo Gap,SD. Camping right on THE WALL!

Here's our top 5 activities for 2024.

5. Hiking Black Elk Peak in Custer State Park. (SD)

4. Sunset Paddleboard at VanRiper State Park. (MI)

3. Biking the George Michelson Trail. (SD)

2. Hiking the Narrows at Zion National Park. (UT)

1. Hiking to see the sunset at Delicate Arch. (UT)
