Happy New Year

Now that we're already finished with the first month of a new decade I suppose I should wish everyone a Happy New Year.
Things have been moving at lightning speed whether I'm ready or not.
We started a homeschool coop on Fridays to give the kids more opportunity to interact with kids their own ages.
They love it. This semester I let them pick 3 classes each. They are enjoying Gym, Art, Volleyball, drama, and field trips(post office,newspaper,etc). They have a nice big gym for them to work out their cabin fever.



On the knitting front I signed on to knit 10 shawls in 2010. I completed two shawls in January and have about half knit on a third. I LOVE to knit shawls.

It's been miserably cold here so everyone seems a bit grumpier than usual. We're all looking forward to the next couple of months flying by as fast as January just did.
Even the dogs are ready for warmer days and longer walks.
