October Happenings

In October we celebrated the kid's birthdays!
Chance turned 16 at the beginning of the month. Now he is eagerly looking forward to getting his driver's license.

Sweet 16

A week later we were celebrating Finn's golden birthday. He grew 3 inches in height over this past year. Soon he'll be towering over me just like his big brother.

11 on the 11th

Finn and I also had some sad news in October. Belle's owner decided to put her down. She was rapidly declining in health and she feared Belle would continue to be in pain throughout the cold winter months. Belle was such a gentle soul. She was a great "teacher" to Finn over the past year. She helped him gain so much more confidence in his riding ability. We will be missing her greatly.
